Hiptipico San Antonio Palopó Huipil

Hiptipico’s San Antonio Palopó Huipil is an original woven blouse from a Maya village on the coast of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Inspired by Lake Atitlan, the gorgeous green and blue-tone weavings are traditional to this area making for a unique textile to wear. This tunic style blouse is traditionally woven on a back-strap loom by female artisans and still worn today. Light weight perfect for summer! Stand out at your next event, music festival, or rock it with skinny jeans for a memorable date-night look. Also makes a great swimsuit cover-up. Fun to wear, it will quickly become a favorite in your wardrobe.

Give Back: Your purchase provides a dignified job opportunity to Maria and other female artisans in her weaving cooperative in San Antonio Palopó, aiding in their quest to keep the Maya tradition of weaving alive.
