Tan San Juan Blanket

This naturally dyed, handwoven throw highlights techniques used by artisans in Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. Using a traditional Mayan backstrap loom, the blankets are woven using "lienzos", or panels of fabric. Each panel is connected using a zigzag “ronda” stitch. This blanket takes about four days to dye, weave and handstitch together, thus creating a truly unique feel.
