Position Details:
We are seeking a talented Social Media Lead with a passion for fashion and philanthropy to be part of our summer internship program. This position will benefit from mentorship opportunities, hands-on work experience, and exposure to all aspects of the socially-conscious e-commerce industry. We are looking for a social media lead who is a thinker and doer, and who can tackle the complex challenges of a rapidly expanding company. Because our diversity of projects varies (ranging across all social sites), we are looking for trans-disciplinary social media strategists who have strong content, personality and creative skills.
Get ready! We work in a fast-paced, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, team environment. If you can keep up, you will finish the internship having gained relevant hands-on social media experience in the startup, fashion, e-commerce and social-good industries.
Working with us will give you the opportunity to:
> Develop and implement customer acquisition marketing campaigns into social media outlets while meeting performance targets and goals
> Produce daily social media content to engage followers and consumers
> Strategize and identify new opportunities for growth of online marketing channels and local outreach
> Collaborate with design team to develop creative concepts and campaigns
> Evaluate performance of ongoing marketing campaigns, such as email, social, and on-site placements
> Provide leadership to interns in building effective content required to meet our marketplace revenue and growth goals through social media outlets
> Analyze consumer data, identify actionable opportunities, and measure and report on performance
> Schedule & execute daily content pushes on various social media outlets
> Assist with other general office tasks and special projects that may arise
Qualifications:
> Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, be an independent worker and also able to collaborate with a team
> A creative self-starter with passion for and proven experience in marketing
> Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-driven
> Ability to prioritize multiple projects
> Strong interest in global social impact and fashion
> Must be a motivated, self-driven individual who is not afraid to tap into their entrepreneurial spirit
> Our team will provide you with guidance and direction, but you must be willing to set your own priorities, accomplish goals and hit company deadlines on an individual level
> Experience with brands/company social media (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter)
> Experience with team leadership/management experience/PR/e-commerce a plus!
